Hirup

Semua sumber, satu angka.

Every source, one number.

The air-quality app for everyday planning in Indonesia. Hirup shows official, independent, and modeled readings side by side on one scale — a consensus you can trust, with a forecast that tells you when to go outside.

Launching on Google Play (Indonesia first); iOS to follow.

The difference

See every source. Decide for yourself.

Most apps show one number from one provider — and providers disagree about the same air, which quietly erodes trust. Hirup shows three different kinds of truth together, normalized to a single scale, as a consensus headline with receipts.

resmi

Official — ISPU

Government ground-truth from KLH/BPLH monitoring stations, the same feed behind the official ISPUnet boards.

independen

Independent — OpenAQ

Open reference monitors, independent of any single provider, so you are never trusting just one number.

model

Modeled — CAMS

The CAMS forecast grid (via Open-Meteo) gives every location a reading and powers the hourly and multi-day outlook.

Every reading carries its receipts — station distance, data age, the scale it was reported on, and a provenance badge. When sources disagree, Hirup says so rather than faking a single confident number.

The secondary hook

The Best Window

An abstract index doesn't help you plan your day. Hirup turns the forecast into a concrete decision: the cleanest stretch of air today, so you know exactly when to run, ride, or send the kids outside.

What's inside

Built for daily planning

Consensus, then advice

One glanceable number and category, then plain-language calls: jog now, open the windows, mask up, let the kids play?

Every source, one scale

See ISPU, OpenAQ, and the model side by side — with station distance, data age, and a provenance badge on each.

EPA ⇄ ISPU toggle

Read the air on the US EPA scale or flip to ISPU — values, labels, and colors all switch to match the roadside boards.

6-pollutant breakdown

PM2.5, PM10, O₃, NO₂, SO₂, and CO in µg/m³ with the dominant pollutant flagged, not just a single index.

Forecast & Best Window

48-hour hourly and a ~5-day outlook, plus the cleanest contiguous window today — “Terbaik 06.00–09.00 · Baik”.

Alerts & morning digest

A ping when air crosses your threshold, and an optional morning briefing at the time you choose — with anti-spam caps.

Home-screen widget

The current number, category color, location, and freshness on your home screen (Android & iOS) — one tap to open.

Works offline

The full interface stays usable on the last cached reading, clearly age-labeled — no dead screens on a flaky signal.

Privacy by design

Private by design

  • No sign-in required — Hirup works right away with a private on-device guest profile. Signing in (Email, Google, or Apple) is optional and only syncs your saved locations across your devices.
  • Ad-free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
  • Your GPS position is rounded to roughly 1 km before any request and is never kept as a location history.
  • You can delete your account and its synced data at any time — and we never sell your data.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Hirup free?

Yes. Hirup launches completely free and ad-free.

Do I need an account?

No. Hirup works right away without signing in, using a private on-device guest profile. Signing in with Email, Google, or Apple is optional — it syncs your saved locations across your devices, and you can delete your account and its data whenever you like.

Where does the air-quality data come from?

Three genuinely different sources — official government ISPU stations, independent OpenAQ reference monitors, and the modeled CAMS forecast grid (via Open-Meteo) — normalized to one scale and shown together, with full attribution inside the app.

Which areas are covered?

Anywhere in Indonesia. Where a monitoring station is nearby, Hirup shows its reading; elsewhere it falls back to the modeled forecast, always clearly labeled so you know which is which.

Is Hirup medical advice?

No. Readings and forecasts are aggregated from third-party sources and may be delayed or estimated. Health guidance is general and category-aligned — it is not medical advice. See the Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
